You message Jenny on WhatsApp

⏱ Takes 2 minutes

Everything starts here. My number is +506 6340 5650. You can use the button on the home page to send a pre-filled message, or just open WhatsApp and say "Hi Jenny, I'm looking for a car." Either way, I will respond personally — usually within a few hours, often faster. You won't get an auto-reply with a booking link. You'll get me.

Don't have everything figured out yet? That's completely fine. Send what you have. A lot of people reach out while they're still in the planning phase — no dates locked in, no exact itinerary, just a general sense of when and where. That's a perfectly fine starting point.

We have a real conversation

⏱ Usually same day

This is the part that surprises people. I don't just reply with a price list. I actually talk to you — because the right vehicle for your trip depends entirely on where you're going and what you're doing, and I can't know that without asking.

I'll ask about your itinerary. Someone driving paved coastal roads between Tamarindo and Flamingo has completely different needs from someone planning to get up to Rincón de la Vieja or explore the backroads of the Nicoya Peninsula. The car that makes sense for one trip is wrong for the other — and I'll tell you that honestly even if it means recommending something that costs less.

This is also your chance to ask me anything. About roads. About insurance. About what happens if a vehicle has a problem mid-rental. About whether your itinerary needs 4WD. About how deposits work. I have been asked every version of every question and I don't mind any of them. Questions mean you're paying attention. Ask everything.

🌴

I've talked to some clients for weeks or even months before they finally booked. There is no rush. The conversation takes as long as it takes. That's how trust gets built.

We agree on everything upfront

⏱ Before any money moves

Once we've talked through your trip I give you a clear, complete quote. Not a teaser rate that changes — the full picture. Everything is confirmed in writing over WhatsApp so there is no ambiguity and nothing that appears later.

💰
The rental rate
Daily or weekly — longer rentals work out better per day. Quoted clearly, no extras hidden inside it.
🛡️
The refundable deposit
Typically $300–500 USD depending on vehicle and length. Fully returned at the end of your rental.
✈️
Pickup details
LIR airport, your accommodation, or wherever makes sense. Time, location — all confirmed.
📋
The total cost
You know the full cost before you pay a cent. No surprises at pickup. Not ever.

What we agree on in WhatsApp is what you pay. There are no counter upsells, no mandatory add-ons, and no fees that appear after the fact.

4
Deposit

You send the deposit

⏱ Holds your vehicle

Once we've agreed on everything, you send the deposit. This takes the vehicle off the market for your dates. The deposit is a security hold — not the first payment on the rental — and it is fully refundable at the end of your trip provided the car comes back in the same condition it left in.

For Costa Rica locals, Sinpe Móvil is the fastest method. For international clients, we work out what makes most sense for your situation — options vary by country. We figure it out together. It has never been an unsolvable problem.

⚠️

I understand that sending money to someone in a foreign country requires trust. That is exactly why I insist on the conversation before any money moves. By the time you send a deposit to me, you should already feel confident. If you don't feel that confidence yet — keep asking questions. I mean it.

🛡️

The deposit is 100% refundable. Normal road wear, dust, a little mud — that is expected in Costa Rica and will never be used as a reason to hold your money. I am protecting against genuine damage, nothing else.

Pickup

Pickup day — smooth from the first minute

⏱ Airport or your location

On arrival day we confirm over WhatsApp a few hours beforehand. If you're landing at Liberia International Airport, I or someone I personally trust will be there with your vehicle at the agreed time. No counter. No queue. No paperwork marathon while you're jet-lagged and just want to get going.

Here's what pickup actually looks like: we meet, I introduce you to the vehicle. I walk you through the quirks — how the AC works, how the 4WD engages if it has it, where the spare tire is. We do a walkthrough of any existing marks together so there are zero disputes later. You photograph whatever you want to photograph. You sign a simple rental agreement. I give you my number if you don't already have it. Then you take the keys and you go enjoy Costa Rica.

✈️
Liberia Airport (LIR)
Standard pickup location. We track your flight and adjust for delays — no stress.
🏨
Your accommodation
Delivery to your hotel or rental villa is often possible. Ask during booking.

On Trip

My number is in your phone the whole time

⏱ Full duration of rental

This is where most agencies disappear entirely. You have the car, they have your credit card, and if something goes wrong you're on hold with a hotline. That's not how this works.

You have my direct WhatsApp number. Flat tire on a back road near Nosara? Message me. Not sure if a road is passable after heavy rain? Message me. Want to know which beach is actually worth the drive from where you're staying? Message me. I check in with longer-term clients occasionally — not to be intrusive, just to make sure everything is going well.

🔧
Mechanical problems
If something breaks that isn't your fault, I find you a replacement vehicle. Always have, always will.
🚨
If there's an accident
Stay safe first, document everything second, message me third. All vehicles are fully insured.
🗺️
Local knowledge
Road conditions, restaurant tips, which beach is actually worth it — I know this place.
Rental extensions
Decide to stay longer? Message me. Extensions are common and usually easy to arrange.

Return

Return, walkthrough, deposit back

⏱ End of rental

At the end of your rental we meet at the agreed location — usually Liberia Airport if you're flying out, or wherever is most convenient. I do a walkthrough of the vehicle with you. Normal wear, dust, a few bug splats — totally expected in Costa Rica, not a discussion. If the car is in the same condition it left in, your deposit is returned promptly.

And that's it. Except that most clients don't actually disappear after that. They message me when they're planning their next trip. They send their friends. They ask what beach they should visit when they come back. That's the part I genuinely love about this business — the relationship doesn't end when you hand back the keys.

🎉

Most clients book again. Many refer their friends. A few have been coming back for years. That's the whole point of doing this the way we do it.

The honest part

What this process
is — and isn't.

Some people come here expecting a click-to-book system. This is not that. Here's exactly why — and why that's actually better for you.

❌ What this isn't

🚫

An online booking portal where you can instantly reserve without talking to anyone

🚫

A price guarantee before we've discussed your actual itinerary

🚫

A guarantee that the specific car in a photo is the exact one waiting at pickup

🚫

A business where you call a number and get a different person every time

🚫

An agency with a storefront, a counter, and a line to stand in

✅ What this is

A real conversation with Jenny before any money moves — every single time

A clear total quote that doesn't change between WhatsApp and pickup

A vehicle that matches the capability you need for your actual trip

One person — Jenny — who knows your name, your car, and your itinerary

A refundable deposit that comes back to you without games

"The conversation before the booking isn't friction. It's the whole reason this works — and why clients keep coming back."

Quick answers

Common questions
about the process.

Usually within a few hours during the day. Sometimes faster. I run this business personally and WhatsApp is always with me. If you message me at 2am Costa Rica time I'll reply in the morning — I do sleep. But I don't leave messages sitting for days.

As early as possible, especially for busy periods. Easter week (Semana Santa) in Costa Rica is one of the busiest times of the year and vehicles get held weeks in advance. For Christmas, New Year, and the main tourist season (December–April), four to six weeks ahead is smart. For quieter periods, a couple of weeks is usually fine — but earlier is always better and reaching out costs nothing.

Absolutely. Many people message me while still in the planning phase. We can have the whole conversation, agree on a vehicle and rate, and lock in the dates once they're confirmed. The deposit is only needed once we're actually holding a specific vehicle for specific dates.

Message me as soon as you know. I track arriving flights for clients and adjust pickup timing accordingly. Flight delays are a normal part of life — they don't change the arrangement, they just shift the timing. The only thing I need is a heads-up so I'm not waiting at the airport unnecessarily.

Usually yes, subject to the vehicle's availability after your original end date. Extensions are actually very common — people come for three weeks and realize they're not ready to leave. If you think there's any chance you might want to extend, mention it when we book. I'll flag it and try to keep flexibility in the schedule.

With the right person, absolutely. The key is the conversation before any money moves — which is exactly why I insist on it. By the time you send a deposit to me, you should know who you're dealing with: someone who has been operating in Guanacaste for six years, has hundreds of satisfied clients, and will answer every question you have including asking for references. All vehicles are fully insured. Your deposit is refundable. My number is in your phone the whole trip.

You know exactly
